Who is responsible

The Plain Stack publishes this site. A contact route will be published once the mailbox exists.

Analytics

We run no analytics product and set no analytics cookies. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting — this is ordinary technical logging, not tracking, and we do not use it to build profiles.

Newsletter

There is no newsletter signup on this site yet, and no form collects anything. When one launches, this policy will be updated before the first address is collected.

Advertising

This site shows ads to stay free to read. Advertising uses cookies, so nothing loads until you agree: decline and the advertising script is never requested at all — not merely de-personalised. The site behaves identically either way.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner reappears.

If you accept, Google may set cookies and process data as described in its own privacy policy. Advertising has no influence on our verdicts, and advertisers get no say in what is reviewed or how it ranks.

Third-party links

Outbound links go to vendor websites. Once you follow one you are on their site, under their privacy policy. We use plain links; we do not add tracking parameters, and we never invent referral codes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold on you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent for the newsletter is the unsubscribe link in any email — no explanation needed.

A contact address will be published on the contact page once the mailbox is live. Until then there is no personal data to exercise these rights over, because none is collected.

You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at people running a business. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

This page carries the date it was last updated. Any change that widens what we collect will be made here before the collection starts, not after.
